A new member with a few questions...

Hello everybody. I recently purchased a pre owned 2013 TW Base Fit! It was a Dealer show room car, and came with a bunch of add-ons already. I purchased the Fit because the price was right, and the steering was quick. I checked out Mazda 2, but the interior looked bargain basement compared to the Honda.

So the aforementioned add- ons are what is giving me trouble. I don't want to go back to the dealer... They will make me wait forever... Because my wife squeezed every penny out of the dealer (we worked them over real good... They made us wait 5hours for the cars after the paper work was signed, and then just my car was outside, we had to find hers, in a garage behind the building LOL!) So I would like to fix these issues myself.

1. I have the door molding installed. The passenger side is loose. The adhesive gave way at the front tip. Is there an easy way to adhere it, or do I have to pull the whole piece off, clean it and re-stick? Also, what's your opinion on the side molding? It's a base, so I kinda like it, but also think it looks a little busy. Hey, it came with the car.
2. The car also came with window visors. The drivers visor allows water to weep through behind the visor, so water still drips inside the car when the windows are cracked open in the rain. How would you guys reccomend I tackle this? I thought if I could find a syringe applicator and put some type of adhesive/sealant between the rubber and plastic... Or is there a way I can adjust?

Other goodies in the car is a carbon fiber dash appliqué, arm rest, and I had the windows tinted. 35% sides and 20% back. I am in the market for seat covers, torn between spacer mesh and neosupreme. I had a spacer mesh type factory seat in my Subaru, and while comfy and breathable, one could never vacuum quite everything out. There was always something stuck in there. I am on the hunt for proper offset wheels (no less than 40-43) and some tires... But I have to save up some money for that... House poor and all that. Oh... I also plastidipped my rearview mirror with red. I saw the Spoon mirror covers, and did it myself on the cheap. I originally did it in white, but it looked dingy and too girly for me. I have seen some TW fits with red accents and that looks sharp, but I am thinking of going the blue route because I also have the blue stitched shift knob from the factory.

Well thanks for your time!

Check out the installation instructions on College Hills Honda site. The installation PDFs should be able to help. PDF links below. A quick google search shows up some 3M body molding adhesive tape that looks like it might be able to help. All the 3M products I have ever used have had good results. I have never installed window visors, but I'm sure someone else on here will be able to give some advice on that one. Good luck on your projects, welcome to the site, and enjoy the Fit!
