easily would. All I would want to know is last time valves were adjusted, last time tranny fluid was changed, and whether the tires are any good.

I think you could ask a bit more, but only if the body is in great condition. People dont realize how much value you still have when the bodywork is still good!

And probably the last time coils was change... I think the going rate is 80k Miles for coils.

I've done the Valves and Tranny fluid myself on the 07' auto fit. Planning to pass the Auto to the girl friend.

3500 is a good price, and knowing the Fit, 195k is not too much, but is certainly a high mileage nonetheless. I think you're asking a fairly good price.

That seems like a good price. KBB puts it at $3,7xx, Edmunds puts it at $5,1xx, so at $3500 you're doing pretty well. And black is probably the easiest color to touch up with one of those <$10 .5oz Honda oem paint pens.

The long term cost of ownership numbers should work out really well for a car like that. Best case you have years with minimal maintenance; worst case you have some repairs, which for the Fit are generally cheap anyway. KBB puts the price premium for going from a 100k car to a 191k car at $2300; you'd need a LOT of repairs before you cover that differential; especially if you can wrench a bit yourself.

No way Black is an easy color to touch up! I recommend buying a DA polisher such as the porter cable 7424xp, a backing plate and some hydrotech pads and some ultimate compound by meguiars and just compound the whole car. It'll bring back some lustre to the paint that is probably old and faded and full of swirls. Just from the wow factor you could add 500-1000 bucks asking price and the machine could still be useful for maintaining your next vehicle.

I find 3500 is low. Manual's are somewhat hard to find so it could be a bargaining chip.

If you are the original owner you may be able to tack on a little bit more to your asking price.
In my area, high mileage fits still sell for more than book value.

When I bought my fit it was listed close to $6000. For a 08 with 180k km 5speed base in white and im the second owner now. So 3500 would be a pretty good deal.

Seems about right. Definitely a good cut/polish would get you a lot more for the money. Just a bit of your time really.
