143 hp at 8000 rpm

top fuel in japan has a package for the factory L15 fit engine to produce 142.7 hp and a redline of up to 8000 rpms! I want one of those engines!

Nice, but by the time you get the work done and buy the suggested support items you're looking at an almost $6500 investment. That's over a third of what the car's worth. Not sure it's worth it unless you're racing, etc. Still, good to know it can be done.

I wouldnt lower the compression. Higher compression would equal faster spool and more power at lower boost levels.

Not a bad little motor. Its got the clutch that AJ Racing is testing.

2007 Fit Compression Ratio
10.4:1

E = C((B / 14.7) + 1)
Where E= Effective Compression, B= boost psi, and C= Static compression. Also remember that 14.7 is equal to 1 bar of boost.

This will help with Compression ?. WARING: running to high of compression and boost will blow your engine.
