Brand New to the Fit Scene. Need Advice

So I just picked up a 2010 White Fit. Not sure if its sport or not?!?! Has paddle shiffers?

Anyways got it used with 65K miles on it. Anyways. My name is Reed, and im looking for a community of people who like to mod their cars.

I just came from the american muscle sect of cars. Just got rid of a 03 mach 1 mustang, pushing 400hp. But i blew the engine up so i went with something smaller slower and more economical.

So question. What are some GO-TO mods I should look into.

It already has HID's and Red Honda Emblems all around. Thats about it.

Looking to do full interior led swap with license plate led swap.

Also looking for an intake, geez these cars are had to find intakes for. Whats the best one that I can get shipped relatively fast?

Lastly thanks for having me!

The Fit has many intake options.

That said, not all of them fit the 5AT (if I remember correctly).

It is a Sport, paddles = Sport.

Go-to mods are very dependent on what you're looking for, you've got a 5AT, so none of my knowledge really translates.

Welcome to the TW FIT family. Injen, K&N, Takeda are some good ones. there are more. Intakes gain 4-6hp on the fit so im going for the one that gives the loudest vtec low to high cam sound as this is music to my ears....lol. I can post a video since you're a domestic guy.

Hit me with it. I actually just ordered a T1r B-Max Carbon Intake. Wanted to deck out the engine compartment with Carbon Fiber. Next is the Password Carbon Fiber Manifold Cover.

Then He(the Fit) gets new shows and a stance. But much later.

Hit me with a video.

I don't remember there being a manifold cover for a GE8-- from what I know that cover is for the 1st generation Fit; I have a 2010 as well, there's not a lot of engine dress up available other than custom unfortunately.
There is however JDPengineering's carbon fiber garnish that replaces the plastic piece right above the front grille if you didn't already know.

My three mods since getting my first Fit (2011 Sport MT) in May 2013:
-> Progress rear sway bar
-> Takeda cold-air intake
-> Mugen vent visors

Sound system is next. I'm trying to decide which will give me a better bang for the buck, HU or speakers.

The JDP Engineering stuff is really cool. Think imma grab the radiator cover.

Everything else is pretty expensive. Also im OCD and if i decide to do carbon fiber on any of the exterior pieces ill have to do all of them, lol

Okay here u go. Not all the intakes magnify the cam change-over. You really hear it when the driver shifts tom 2nd and floors it. the mmmmmmBAAAAAAAH. He's spraying VTEC hard. Happens around :15-:17.

in my most humble of opinions the most bang for your buck is!

a light lower ( you don't need coil overs just a gentle drop) $150 ish
nice wheels up to $2000ish but you can get a nice wheel set up for 1000
HID 100
HID fogs 100 (even less but thats the worst case for the lighting)
an exhaust/intake (if you get a solid exhaust and intake this is the expensive part...i have a skunk 2 50mm cutback and a PWJDM carbon chamber so i would say this is about 1200 after tax but you can find cheaper and used stuff for half the price)
window visors $120 ish
and jdm tail lights $120 ish

if i saw your car with this set up with no extra wing or carbon i would think it was respectable for sure....

Already on it homie. Intake and Full Interior LED kit ordered on its way.

Already came with Red Emblems and HID's.

And some random aftermarket muffler, that I dont know what brand but I like the tone.

Next paycheck its springs.

Then on to saving up for wheels and tires.

Welcome to the FitFreak community! Nice to see you here :-)

Engine Mounts (insert polyurethane does the job) will help a lot to get the car "peppier". Also you'll want a Throttle controller to get rid of the laggy throttle response (look for TW Panson here on FitFreak).

Wider tires (195 or 205) are going to give you a lot of pleasure compare to stock size!

The Progress rear sway bar is a must have.

You might want to check for T1R products from AJ racing... They have a lot of nice stuff to offer for the Fit.

Which intake did you chose? Just curious.

It seems that there's an HID kit or something added wired from the battery. All else looks to be in good place at first sight. Nice clean car! :-)
