I know there are a bunch of forums but I am wondering if any company makes a turbo kit for the GE8. I have a 2012 and want to do a turbo setup, all I find is old posts and no info. Is the only option a custom setup?

 

what would you tune with? figure that out first.

then you can find an evoX fuel pump and some injectors and go from there.

I don't know of a turbocharger kit, but Sprintex came out with a supercharger kit a little while back. Here's a thread on that:

I've ready through most of this thread and I think some of the early adopters had trouble with the plug connections to the engine ECU (bad connections), but I think the manufacturer may have gotten that sorted out by now.

^^ yes, the supercharger kit is the perfect entry level forced induction for the GEs. its the closest thing to a complete power kit. The only thing additional is wiring it up and sorting out which tune you need (many to choose from, fully stock, just exhaust, just intake, both, etc..) Just need to talk to the right people to get the correct tune.
