Can anyone tell me the dimensions for the 16" 2015 rims?
I know that the bolt pattern is 4x100 But I would like to know the rest of the story.
1. Offset
2. Center Bore
3. Pitch Circle Dia.


I'm looking for a set of 16" steelies and I'm sure that wheels from other makes and years will work but I need to know the dimensions.

So far this is what I know for sure:
16x6(??)4-100
16=Rim Dia. (in inches)
6 = Rim Width (in inches)
4 = # Bolt Holes
100= PCD (In MM)
?? - Off Set


So I just need to know the darn off set

 

OK...I've found the info on the Fit / Jazz wheel dimensions:
Honda Jazz/ Fit 2001 and newer:
Wheel dimensions: 4x100 offset 35 - 38 MM
Center Bore 56.1 MM


For the 16" wheels I'll need the following:
16x6(35-38)x4-100
Center bore 56.1 MM
There is the information on the dimensions for the Fit wheels

 

you are close... you are correct that the stock ex wheel is 16x6, 4x100, 56.1 hub bore but it is a +53 offset.

Hondas used this bolt pattern/hub bore forever. In 2006, the civics switched over to 5x114, but the fit came out and continued the 4 lug run. Although varying offsets and widths, Any oem honda 14" + civic/fit wheel would work. Early civics had 13" and those wont cover your front brakes though. There are other manufacturers that used the 4x100 bolt pattern, like mazda, kia, hyundai etc. But many of those used a smaller, 54mm, hub bore. the offsets are similiar, and can be dremel'd to fit, but none of the wheels ever enticed me enough to do that...

I saw your other post about wanting an oem 16" wheel. That is not likely to happen. can i ask why you want a steel wheel of this size? winter use? If so, you should run a 14" or 15" wheel, as they are cheaper and will give you better inclement weather traction.

Personally, i used the previous generation fit 15" steel wheels for winter use on my 2015 ex. I ran 15", so i could use a 185/65-15 tire, the tallest tire that will fit without major interferance. I ran a taller snow tire for two reasons: additional ground clearance and gearing reduction. So far so good.

*edit* i only ran them a short while, because they really didn't fit well, and i drive my cars a lot, so it was only a matter of time before they got destroyed...

Your question asking why I want a set of 16" steelies for our Fit.
You've already hit on some of the reasons.
1. Improved ground clearance.
Living in rural Maine our roads are rife with frost heaves along with large pot-holes.
These issues cause serious damage to oil pans, under carriage and control arms.
2. I've had it with alloy wheels. The damage done by tire shop "wizards" and dealership "experts" (Its enough to make me spit nails).
These OEM alloys are not cheep. But these shops just don't give a damn (It's not their car).
Not to mention that once alloys get a few years on them, the environmental damage makes them look like crap and they start to leak.
So, alloys and me have parted ways no matter who made them.

I'll be looking into the suspension geometry (of the Fit) and see if a 1" lift-kit is feasible.

The SEMA cars were pretty awesome on the whole wheel thing.

 

If you want more ground clearance instead of larger wheels go with a higher profile tire. This make is a cushier ride. Stick with 15" instead of 16", lower cost with many more tire options....so basically stick with the OEM steelies but just a higher profile tire.

Stock steel 185/60-15 = 603mm diameter
Stock Aluminum 185/55-16 = 609.9mm diameter

195/60-15 = 615mm diameter
There are other combo too but the 195/60 is the largest diameter that won't have clearance issues. This size has lots of tire choices and is relatively low cost. This is what I'm running and will stick to.
