Hello,

So I've recently moved to a "downtown" area of Montreal and I must purchase a parking voucher if I don't want to park 5 streets away from my apartment. This requires defacing my prized GD Sport with a parking sticker on the top left hand corner of my rear hatch window.

The sticker must be stuck outside as per the rules and because my hatch has max tint anyway. I've noticed another smart driver stuck a clear film over his sticker to protect it from the elements, because it really becomes unsightly once it is all faded, wrinkled and peeling.

Any suggestions on a clear film that I can cut to size to stick over my parking sticker?

Cheap cell phone screen protector from the $0.99 store would work.

 

Or a little more ghetto if you're too cheap for the $0.99 store, just stick some clear packaging tape over it. At least it can go on your rear window instead of on the hatch or bumper.

Great suggestions! Thanks! Too cheap for the dollar store? Now that's a whole new level of cheap I like the sticker shiel idea however I don't want to have to order anything, I want it pronto because the parking situation is breaking my balls.

I will check out what canadian tire has. Or perhaps I will try and find a local company that does car stickers...
