Smile Greetings from the shadow of Mt Rainier

I might be the oldest guy here, 68! Anyone else close?
We are awaiting delivery of the first Honda we've ever owned. 2016 EX-L.
One more in a long line of cars. We've owned a 53 Bug, followed by a bus and a squareback. Bought a brand new Rabbit (VW Golf) in 76, followed by a Cherokee, a Saab, a Nissan Pathfinder, and finally a Scion Xb.
This new Fit will be everything that the Scion should have been.
My hobby cars have been a 45 Jeep GPW, a 47 CJ2A, a 59 Chev Apache, and 3 or 4 motorcycles. So I've been around cars a lot, usually with a wrench or two in hand.
We drove a friend's Fit and fell in love. My wife is a landscape designer, and she figures she can fit some large potted shrubs in that back seat area and still pit the dog in back.
We searched the south Puget Sound dealers, and only found a single CVT Fit
Among all their inventories, so we pre-ordered. Our car is stuck at customs in Texas.
I'll be back for info on accessories when it gets here.
Over and out.

There used to be a older gentleman that lived in ruston that would come out to the car meets. He had a serious cigar hobby.

Welcome.
When you graduated from high school, I was in the fifth grade.

From the Portland area,
Peter

Don't make any bets like that. I'll be 75 on the birthdate I once shared with Bruce Lee. Since he's dead, I don't have to share it with him any more.

I'm a mechanical clutz, but my car ownership started with a 1950 Chevy, then a 1962 Tempest, a 1963 LeMans, a 1964 GTO TriPower, on through a Corvair, a Vega, Nova, Chevy Wagon, a Civic Wagon, Civic EX, Civic Si, a battered Buick, an SX4 Suzuki, and now a Fit EX 6 speed manual.

And like the irritating Amy Poeler SNL character, I have a wooden leg (actually plastic impregnated fiberglass).
