New 2016 Honda Fit EX-L - Passion Berry Pearl
Hi Fit owners!
Got my wife a 2016 Honda Fit EX-L in Passion Berry Pearl. First time I've driven a CVT, and the car is nice to drive and a lot of fun. We will be taking this car up some fun roads in the future (Page Mill Road, Highway 84, and Skyline Blvd up near Palo Alto). First day picking it up:
And my fun car, a 2006 Honda S2000, modified with many of the goodies from the '08-'09 S2000 CR trim.

Thanks for the welcome! I haven't seen a whole lot of Passion Berry Pearl Fits that have some modifications on them. I'm hoping to add the Mugen kit...lip, grille, spoiler But for now we just went with the door visors last week. Next month we will be getting the Progress Rear Sway bar. I'm very impressed how it drives in the mountains so far.

It's my favorite color. Always loved the purplish color on small japanese cars, especially kei cars.
Anyways, seems like your build will be superb and I'll be following it . Your s2000 is done so clean. Love that you basically went OEM+ and didn't go crazy on it.
Would the rear sway bar help with the rear bouncing? I took one on a test drive and I loved it, but my rear passengers told me that it felt a bit bouncy in the rear.

I think its a limited color...its certainly not as common as most of the others, except for maybe Mystic Yellow. I'll have a build thread in the galleries soon, thanks for your praise for both of my cars! I hope to find out about the benefits of the sway bar in person soon

From first impressions I would say so. Portland's roads have their issues, so I do pay attention to this.
However, my observation is skewed for the moment. I've only driven the car 300 miles so far. I had never gotten around to doing the shocks/struts on my old car because I knew I would be buying the Fit.
The sway bar went on when the Fit reached 100 miles on the odometer.
On roads with speed bumps, for example, I would drop down to second gear in my old car. I can handle these in third gear on the Fit. Is it a matter of gearing or the new upgrade? I tend to think the sway bar has added that bit of welcome stiffness.
Here's the problem: when I see and drive over bumps or rough patches on the road, my butt thinks that it is still riding in the old car.
