New fit owner in Nashville

After years of having thought that when the time came to replace my very trusty 01 Civic it would be time to have a fit. Well the time came. The Civic has still been great but getting long in the tooth. From what I had been seeing Honda was going to make very few 16 Fit EX's with the 6 speed and I flat out will not have one with a CVT in it. Did some poking around and found a leftover new 15 EX in silver at a dealer near Atlanta. Got a great price on it and took delivery on the 16th. Drove it home but have only driven it a couple days since due to ice and than snow here in Nashville. Was worried about getting hit verses trying to drive in it. I drove 30 winters up in Minnesota so I know how to handle ice. Looking forward to being more active on this forum after being a lurker for so long and hope the Fit holds up as well as the Civic has.

Welcome to the forum. Snow and ice here also...lots of fun.

I also had an 01 Civic before my Fit. I am sure the Fit will prove to be just as reliable. It can be hard to find a manual transmission. I had to travel to get my Civic in a manual and also my Fit.

The 01 Civic the dealer had one on the lot. I bought it in September of 01 at the end of the model year. The fit was the one that was so hard to find a manual. I really liked the looks of the blue but there were only 2 of them and neither was near me and I knew the price would be much higher. I paid 17,250 before dealer doc fee on the Fit and that was including the wheel locks, splash guards, and cargo mat.

Congratulations on your '15 Fit.

I should have included floormats when I bought my Fit. I didn't think about it at the time.

John :

Glad you found the Fit you wanted. I also have a 2015 EX manual Fit. I bought mine in Memphis Tn. The more I drive it the more I like it.
