Where should I buy floor-mats for '16 LX

I just bought a Honda Fit 2016 LX and I have no floor mats. Would you recommend I purchase the mats from the dealer or somewhere else ? If somewhere else where would I find a store that sells floor mats for a Honda 2016 LX

Congrats on your new Fit.

I wouldn't buy from the dealer. Others will chime in and give you their thoughts on which ones to get, where to buy them, and why.

bargainguy's Aries 3D mats looks like a good choice with a good price.

I just tried to get my saleswoman to throw in a pair while I was getting my cargo cover and door guards put on. I learned from the cashier that they are 40.00. I figured she could throw in a pair. But, she said, "Go to the carwash on the corner of this and that" (Los Angeles). They are the SAME floormats, according to her, but only $20.00 - just hanging there in the car wash.
I like my cargo cover. Now I'm deciding about window tint. . .

I put Weathertechs floor liners in mine. Available online from numerous sources.

Another vote for Weathertech here. I wouldn't bother with the Honda carpet mats. They're rather cheaply made and ill fitting (especially in the back).

Get WeatherTechs or Husky's. They both cover the dead pedal and prevent mud and crude getting to the driver's-side beside the door-sill carpet area.
Don't bother with the OEM rubber mats either. The gunk still gets through.
Congrats on the new ride!!!

WeatherTech all the way. They've been great in keeping melting snow and salt residue out of the car. Easy to clean up and a spray of 303 makes them look brand new. Available online. Floor Mats - WeatherTech Laser Measured DigitalFit FloorLiner | WeatherTech.com

I have some husky mats I got off of amazon that I am very happy with. The only thing is that you can only get them in a set with the front and back all at once.

Thanks bargainguy. I bought the Aries 3D mats a couple of weeks ago after seeing your pics in that thread. They look great in my Fit.

You're most welcome, shephrd. After living with them a couple months, no problems to report. They don't slide around either, which is one thing I hate about mats that don't have the spider-like backing that the Aries do.

I wanted Husky in the front and WeatherTech in the rear because I really liked the way the WeatherTechs crawl way up past the seat clasp in the back. But at the time Husky didn't break up the front/rear set so I went with all WeatherTechs ... a bit pricey but absolutely no regrets.

I'm looking at the Weathertechs, Huskys, and
3D Max myself 3D Max myself
. Got black fit, not sure if I want to do black mats or grey.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I'd go with black, as it seems they disappear into the carpeting. But that's just me.

grey would show fewer crumbs, but black snazzier after a vacuum. go to Amazon and look at the cool LED lights you can install on your toes. I think they will be brighter and more fun - AND change colors - if you install them yourself. I got Honda to do my toes, officially, and they are so subtle that they ... are hardly visible. and of course can only be seen at night. But I didn't DARE to try self-install, so I'm going with subtle. If you do them, then BLACK mats for sure.

ha ha. I call them toe lights. maybe look at Honda Fit accessories LED - you'll find 'em. but they ARE toe lights. I drove my 98 miles 2016 back to the dealer yesterday and my sales person asked to see my "toe lights" - she had never experienced them before. Unfortunately it was day, and the toe lights will not cooperate during the day. I told her that I have to wear my white soled Sketchers really to appreciate them. I drove in to ask why I was only getting 22 mpg and she said it was cuz I'd only driven 98 miles in 2 weeks. So I'm taking her (my Fit) on a road trip as soon as my window tints dry up and un-smoke themselves a little. Maybe next Wednesday.
