Anyone Know Where to get the Mugen Exhaust Anymore?

Hi All,

I've been looking all over for the Mugen exhaust for my GE8 and it isn't really available in the States anymore from what I can tell. If anyone has any leads or knows a website that still has them it would be a huge help.

Best Regards,

Mr. Gibson

I'm not sure where you can find them from 3rd party locations... Maybe King's Motorsports. However, give Honda a try with the part numbers for the OEM accessory Mugen axle back below? They may be able to source one in the their parts warehouses in the US.

18000-XTK-000

^^ For without Mugen rear lip.

18000-XTK-900

^^ For with Mugen rear lip.

Thank you so much! I'll be looking around now.

EDIT: The part number you gave me is for 2009-2011 Fits. Mine is a 2012. Do you know if they will still line up?

Yes, doesn't matter. Fits all US GE8s.

I am curious does this exhaust make a huge difference in sound or power? I would like to add a bit more flow to my fit plus the stock exhaust has some damage to it (got the car used) but i don't want it to sound like a "race car" as i know the car is slow and don't need any unwanted attention.

I owned the Mugen for two years now. No huge difference in sound or power. It does give a deeper tone in the low rpm range noticeably when pulling in the parking lot, moving in to a driveway, ignition start up, etc. No drone on highway speeds so definitely no "race car" sound. There's a reason why they call this Mugen "sports silencer". It's relatively quiet among other aftermarket brands, but enough rumble to notice you're not running a stock exhaust if that's what you want.
