Seat Cover Recommendations

I know I discussed seat covers here before, but using Search got me too many useless posts.

Now that my son has his new Fit, we're looking for good quality seat covers. He has a temporary pair of $20 covers on the front seats, but he'd like something more durable. However, he is not (yet) independently wealthy, or he wouldn't have bought a Fit. So, is there a quality set of front seat covers that won't require a bank loan? I'm thinking of something around $100. I will also be adding seat heaters, in case that's a consideration.

personally, I'm eagerly awaiting a rare ebay 20% off coupon. once that shows up, I have my eyes on clazzio's and clazzio heated seats kit to pair along with it:

(if you buy JUST the fronts, it would come out to cheaper than $300 of course)

I just bought a used 2016. My friend bought me seat covers from Costco. They are allegedly waterproof. I live near the beach and participate in water sports like surfing & snorkeling. I have made the occasional run home still in my soaking wet wetsuit in my previous car, so I'm hoping this will help.

I have yet to install them. But I did just get the car & seats and it's been non-stop raining every day here. Plus I just joined FitFreak. I will try to follow up with my thoughts on these covers after I install them.

Thanks for that!

I did a Chat with CARID about their Coverking seat covers. Based on their web page, I thought front and rear would cost $103.66. Not so! That's the price for either front or rear. Just a bit deceptive.

I paid about 130 for front seat covers in neoprene from Precision Fit. Nice, but the fit on the driver's seat lacks precision.

"but the drivers seat lacks precision" ... oh the irony

You probably don't need seat warmers in FL. : ) I wonder how the heat would get through the neoprene.

I see lots of places selling "vinyl leather" seat covers. I'd love to see the animals they get them from. : )

UPDATE: Finally installed them a few days ago and they really don't work with my 2016 Honda Fit. I can't get the ties around the plastic mouldings at the base of the front seats, and now the seat covers shift.

I finally ordered these. They should arrive in a week, or so. They make them when you order them.

I’ve used Wet Okole seat covers in the past, and they’re definitely durable and well-made. They might push the $300 budget a bit, but they’re worth it in the long run. The neoprene material is great for everyday wear and tear, and they fit snugly on the seats. They’re also compatible with seat heaters. If anyone looking for something that balances quality and cost, these are a good option to consider.
