Are you on stock height? I'm running 15" Rota Slipstreams ET40 with 195/50/15 tires on Skunk2 springs, no rubbing at all.

And hello kabayans!

thanks for the advice and yes im running on stock height. a friend of mine running on 195/55/15 with also rota slips do encounter some rubs at the rear. proabably due to 55 series or painful roads of metro manila.

You are correct about the 55 profile, and also correct on manila roads.

Here's a shot of my GD with the Slips more than a year ago:

nice gd1 jmsplitfyre... would 50 be enough for 40 offset without drop here in manila?

Well If you're not planning to drop and you want to keep your speedometer accurate, then I'd say stick with the 55 profile.
And mine's a GD3, the first gen started with the 3 here in US/Canada.

Thanks!
And what I meant by accurate is when you have stock rims/tires, your speedometer will read at the correct speed (i.e. 40kmh at 40kmh). Now for example in my case I am running a 50 profile instead of a 55, my speedometer reads 2.5kmh more than my actual speed (i.e. 50kmh at 47.5kmh).

To calculate tire/rim/speedo stuff, I use this:
Online Wheel & Tyre Fitment calculator. Offset, Tyre stretch and Rolling Radius calculator
