Right on for making the trip out here! like many of us it was our first time too..don't be too lazy at the meets..haha meet/greet and sit with us next time! keep up the good work on your fit!!
I was actually just a bit beat.. I was falling asleep on the drive up and didn't really get a very good nights rest.
As for my fit.. I'm done :/ I want something new!
Folks that Sat was the best time I've had in months!!!!!!!
really was a blast meeting all you nice people
I wanted to personally thank Ritchie for inviting me along,
and DonSauce (and others) for organizing.
It really was helpful to me to plan some mods by seeing your
cars and talking with you all. Thanks for your time and patience
with all my nOOb quetsions
Speaking of nOOb's, did all you SF'ers like the Hill on Laurel st heading
out to the PCH on the way home, where I killed it on the Green light
and TOTALLY peeled out trying to get the Fit up the hill.
I must have turned about 19 shades of Red from embarrassment
what a dork!
still getting used to the damn clutch after only 1 month!
The meet, the drive, the BBQ, the cruise up PCH on the way home
were ALL effin' GREAT. (that WAS the way to go home, eh Ritchie? )
great cars and great people make for a great combination!
I've got a few pics to post once I get some spare time...work and
a family BBQ on Sunday in Napa have conspired to keep me off the Forum !
yes it was grilling weekend for the mapkook
can't wait to do it again (that's aimed at YOU Solo !)
chris, you mentioned a track day!
do you know anything about the 'open nights' at Infineon/Sears point?
they used to have a night where anyone could go and drive their car
on the track, after a quick initial inspection to make sure your car didn't
leak oil and or parts all over the track.
it was like once a month on tues or weds?
but this was a LONG time ago ( i may be aging myself here?)
i wonder if they even still do it.....???????
anyone know??
oh, and YEAH, the sunburn Sunday morning was OUT OF CONTROL
red leather neck and face...thank GOD I had a hat on LOL

all i remember at infineon were the weds night drags. When i used to go (about ~3yrs ago) it was like $25 for at least 3 passes. Ive never heard of infineon doing open track days do consistently and especially at night.
yeah, no kidding! i'd take me a while to save that kinda dough for running the car @ Infineon, and no SCCA license either
