Hey guys, a quick heads up

Hwy. 9 will be closed from Felton to Santa Cruz beginning this Monday (6/7) and will remain closed until late OCTOBER, because of the major road construction.

 

so much for hwy 9 cruise. ):

 

i guess 17 will be the only option

 

Well, that's only the very southern tip. There's always the option of bypassing that part... The best corners are north from boulder creek. Also, Skyline is a possibility, though the far end of Skyline is questionable (near 17).

Was up at Alice's yesterday on the bike... Beautiful day, and so many awesome bikes and cars. Tesla, Ferrari GTO, Audi A8, Shelby Cobra. And then the bikes!

 

you should scout it then, like a week before we actually go and then you can lead the pack or something. given we figure out a date and actually go to santa cruz lol

looks to be sometime in the end of july most likely the 24 or 31st in Santa Cruz via highway 17. Anyone from Santa Cruz know a good place to do a BBQ, i am unfamiliar with the area, the only beach i know is the one honda-tech goes to for Cruise to Cruz.

 

ive only been to twin lakes (which has bonfire pits) =D

That's the list so far. So let's set it for JULY 31st.

Sample itinerary:

10:30 AM - Meet up somewhere in San Jose.
10:45 AM - Start driving down to Santa Cruz.
11:30 AM - Arrive at Twin Lakes, Santa Cruz.
11:30-12:00 PM - Set up and cook
12:00 PM - Whenever - Eat, chat, whatever.

Just a sample of what we might do. I chose twin lakes because it is not too crowded...and sand is relatively clean. So as for materials I can bring some marinated chicken wings/legs etc.

Does anyone have a grill???
