What the heck do you mean by that? What is the max rpm for the paddle shifters? I think you need to finish your thought.

I was thinking he means before each shift. They have some info on that in the owner's manual but i believe it gives mph shifting recommendations not rpms.

on another note:

I found that it is very difficult to paddle shift from 1st to 2nd gear when starting with a turn because the paddle shifters turn with the wheel and when it's time to shift into 2nd the right side paddle shifter is way up high at the 12 oclock position.

^^^truth! i end up shifting up after i've completed my turn, or i shift to 2nd before the turn.

i'm going to assume the OP is asking at what RPM is it safe to shift. i'm no genius but my common sense says anything under the red-line is fine.

I recommend you read up on it in your owner's manual under "Driving". There's a section in your owners manual about it. If you're a new driver (I think you are), I wouldn't mess with it for now. Get used to the car, the feel of the shift points and when it shifts. From there you can get a better feel for when and how to use your paddles.

I think those paddles are nice but really just "bling". I seldom use mine. They're impractical. Just my take.

You can shift whenever you like, the TCU won't let you do any damage.

It's not like some sort of Shift Nazi pops out of the glove box to punch you in the sack if you miss a specific RPM window.

6500 is the limit

5000 for casual driving and 6500 is the limit before the limiter kicks in. You will want to shift 100-200 rpm before the limiter otherwise you'll lose a little momentum as the rpms drop from the limiter. Keep it between 4500 and 6300 when hauling ass.
