Ok everyone, K1-Speed set for Sunday, November 11, 2012 in the new SF facility. Those in the East Bay that want to meet and caravan, please meet at the McD's in Castro Valley (off Strobridge) at 9am, then drive/cruise via San Mateo Bridge to K1-Speed for karting, then cruise up to the city and up to Fort Baker in Marin. If you are not in the East Bay you can meet at K1-Speed by 10am.

Then break off back to our homes or w/e else you may be doing. For us that live in the east bay, we'll take the San Rafael Bridge back to complete our cruise.

If we have at least 8 people I can book a reservation.

Thanks for this though, I can't stand that other company with tracks in Fremont and Burlingame... my lungs and throat are burning after inhaling all that exhaust. If this is truly electric, I'll be excited to breathe while racing! I'll see if I can be avail. Have a big trip that evening-through Monday though, so we'll see.

We can push back the date if that's not a good weekend. Maybe the following weekend or the weekend after next.

 

If we can I really would like to push it back.... Don't want to have to choose between Fit meet and AutoX T_T #firstworldproblems

 

Ended up going to K1 spontaneously with some friends. For the price, its pretty fun.

 

So, as far as I am aware are we pushing this back to Nov?

All K1-Speed locations are having a Halloween special, $33 for 3 races good through now till the end of business day 10/31/12. Maybe I'll see some of you there hehe.

 

Slightly off topic but Konig_feather and I are going on the 31st for 3 for $33 at 6pm. If anyone is not doing anything you're welcome to join. And the official event/meet date is still Sunday, Nov. 11 (Veteran's Day); it's less than 2 weeks away, so please let me know if you and any other +1's are coming so that I can make a reservation if we have at least 8 people, and have the track all to ourselves
