An idea for possible meet the scca sacramento round 1 @ Mather field april 13?

 

I was thinking about going. I'm going out to Oakland this month for that event too. Some of the Bay Area guys are going to that. 3/17

 

sounds like it would be a blast i don't think i can get out of work for the one on the 17th.

 

Well I'll probably come out to the event in April. Are you going to run?

i went to an oakland one last year in my miata their is no grip out their at all. but it was a lot of fun a lot of nice cars out their.

 

Haha yea, depending on which lot, Oak events are not the grippiest

Our Golden Gate Fields events are worse though

We have an event this Sun, 3/10 but its at the Marina Municipal Airport, about 12 miles north of Monterrey. The surface there is poured concrete which is AWESOME for grip.... Even for me though its a hour plus drive

 

I think it was the first autocross of the year last year at oakland and after all for runs my tires were still cold to the touch with me drifting most of the course. it was just so cold could not get heat into the tires. the Monterey event sounds like fun but to long of a drive for having to work the night before and after the event.

 

The distance kills it for most people

I'm crazy though, I'll be driving to San Diego for the National Tour at the end of March

After this weekend at Oakland ill definitely be out at Mather next month.

Hey! I'm from the Napa/North Bay area, but I've been in the Elk Grove area for a couple of weeks, training for a new job. I knew there had to be some Fit activity in this part of California. I just got a new 2013 Fit, base model, manual trans, in the dark gray. Oddly enough, for the same job, which has me training in Sac (will be working in Vacaville).

Just a little activity lol. You should check out the fb group in the post above yours. They're a lot more active. But maybe we can throw together a meet before the autox events next month. How do you guys feel about a small meetup at in n out? Maybe the newer one by Arden mall?
