So, I had to get used to this when I first got my convertible, and rode with the top down (people ALWAYS look), but what's up with being stared at in a Fit? Anyone else have this happen? People just stare at me in my Fit. Stop light? People next to me staring. Pulling out of a driveway? Couple driving by stared and pointed. HUH??? I mean, I'm not ugly, but I'm no model either, so it can't be ME. What's with all the looks at me and my car? It's not like the Fit looks THAT different from other cars out there. It can't be just me that it's happening to, right???

 

i think i got that a few times last year.

 

Yeah, if they were at least other Fit people, I'd get it, but these were just random people, acting like they'd never seen someone in a car before.

lol it happens once in a while to me too. when i first got the car and was on the 5 freeway last year, one car stayed around me and was taking pictures. doesn't happen anymore now.

 

Ha! Ha! Ridin Dirty - Since I got my Fit in May it has been the same. I have people stop and walk up to my car and ask me questions about it. Last Saturday when they ran the Associated Press article talking about one of our fellow Fit Freaks and her Fit - made the front page! I actually had a guy hanging out his window looking at my car! People do the drive by and hang too! They come up beside you - drifting up and back just staring at the car! The Fit looks way different than anything else on the road - hand washing it last Monday night two boys on bikes just about 12 to 13 years of age, one said to the other,"That is the coolest car". I told him hey thanks!

PS I have a little Japanese cat hanging off the tow bar and that is the funnist thing to watch people behind me starting at this little Cat with a Japanese tag hanging off the tow bar. OK maybe I took it a tad too far with that but I am having fun throwing things on the Fit just because it is so different - this is on the inside: Everytime a bell rings a Fit gets new rims!LOL! Can you tell I'm on vacation today ?

I have an NSXCA sticker on the back of my Fit. People give me the wtf look. You do know your car isn't an NSX right, to which I reply, nope, that one is in the garage.

 

one time i came out of in n out and sum old guy was checkin out my car he was askin me about it and said it was nice and that honda makes good cars

Same thing happen to me from just driving around and going to work and home, when I got my car back to sept. and I live in Newport Beach and random ppl where i live just like doing a morning walk or driving by and look at my car if it was like an alien. For most of the time ppl ask question about the car like the name and who made it. Once heading to my friend houseand this car follow me to my friend house and ask about the car. I was like wtf! Then another time some girl in lane next to me told me cool car. It seem like ppl never seen a Fit before.

 

seriously, this car is a total chick magnet. haha.

Today, I was parking my Fit at work. I'm getting my bag, and stuff, and just taking my time getting out, and I see the attendant guy walking back and forth, and I'm wondering what he's doing. So, I finally get out, and he comes up to me, and I'm thinking "Uh-oh, what's THIS about?" but then he starts asking me about the Fit, and the price and mileage and stuff.
