Hi everyone i got my fit a month ago and im already thinking on my first minor mods.. i was thinking on doing a 15% tint except for the front since its illegal here in cali and i was also looking at some eyelids on ebay, does anyone have eyelids or has anyone had experiences with eyelids??? oh by the way i was looking at the F2 ones on ebay.. any help will be appreciated and i'll post some pics of my baby as soon as i figure out how thanks!

welcome to the site. fyi, cali tint laws allow 70% tint on the front side windows legally.

I recommend limo tint all around because it just looks better and sleeker. And if i had the choice i would love to tint my front windshield, but my parents won't let me do that. So i would say *5% all around*, but if you want to be safe do 15-20% all around because 35% is just too light for me. It's like a smoked tint and you can easily see the person completely through the windows. If you want to see the tint on the cars...then come to one of the OC weekly meets. Hopefully the sun will still be up by the time you meet up with the members so you can see what the tint looks like in the daytime.

I've got 30% tint on the front 4 windows and 25% on all the rest! :] It's pretty dark, but I haven't been stopped by any cops yet. :] I wanted to tint the front windshield just a little bit, but I know for sure I'll get stopped. x]

 

You will it dosent matter even w/ the tint that even look like you have tint, some how they know


Also dont even worry about the front plus you around th oc you can go 15 % in the front and be safe around here, so put some tint in the front b/c it funny look w/out tint in the front.

Koolkevin is dude on the forums that did a DIY on the ebay lip and it come out very nice ask him about. or IM him it the same as his s/n

umm i dont know about that because i saw sum guy with one of those scions..(the ones that look like a rectangular box) i forgot the name lol. but 'neway he got pulled over and i could tell it was bcuz of the tintin because he was drivin at the speed limit.. but yea i'll consider doing some tintin in the front but not that much.. so does anyone wanna show some pix of their tinted rides?? and yea i'll try to contact that koolkevin guy because im seriouslly considering on buyin' me those eyelids.

Here my 35% in the front and 15% in the back and i get pull over only for my lights not my tints. LoL

umm why because of your lights?? yea im diggin' your tints but i kina want my back ones a lil darker.. but the front ones i still dont know i dont wanna deal wit mr. popo n get ticketed lol.. so what do you think of a 10% 60% or a lil something like that? and where'd u get your windows tinted? i heard metro sound on HB isn't that expansive??

 

if you're worried about the police then it's best you don't do anything illegal. simple as that. Don't draw attention to yourself.

 

it long story and funny too, it just happen few days ago, tell at the meeting if you go. But any way 10% is good choice but 60% in the front, that not evening having tint in front, and most place dont even carry 60 % around here, but a lot in the east coast. I have ask metro sound for quote before and it was running around 190 to 220, if want tint shop i have guy in stantons on beach blvd call Alpha Tint, and he has done few tint jobs for our socal fits guy, dose great job and have special price for our Fits I roll around HB all the time day and night, even had popo ask about my fit even w/ my tint.

yea i've heard about alpha tint also but i didn't know they gave fits a special price hehe but yea im still debating on the front ones.. i know i want 10% on the back for sure but idk what i should do to the front ones... so what other mods have u done to your fit?

 

Yea I having sending him a lot Fit to him and other cars. but the only thing is he doesnt have 10% but 5 % tint, if you are so worry about just dont do it then. other mods, intake, hids, lights, visor, and etc. and also more to come it the holiday season coming up. LoL
