I haven't been back to that Lake since the mid '90's. I thought it was/is a nice little Lake. Anyways, I thought I wanted to give a suggestion. Anywhere would be awesome.

Yeah, I live in Torrance, about 20 miles from Downtown LA... so its about a 30 minutes to OC, so I'm down to drive another 30-40 as long as i'm not alone. hahahahah hopefully my gf will be able to tag along.

My cousin lives in San Clemente, and I would say I'm confident navigating the area so I'm down for someplace around there... its around San Juan Cap I believe.

 

i remember awhile back when i was rolling with socalcivic and socalprelude

we had about 30 cars on the 5 freeway. it was just amazing to see all these tuners basically taking over the freeway.


just think about all the fits dominating the freeway. im gonna try and ask my buddies to come. probably an s2k with a photographer so they can be the camera car.

i was just searching around and laguna niguel national park looks pretty nice.

we can all meet up, plays some football, if yall want you can go fishing at the lake. we can rent out a gazebo. they have bbq grills, fire pits and what not.its just an idea that i was searching through.

problem is that it is 75 dollors to rent out a private part area. i dont mind forking out some money for it. but even if we had 15 fit owners that onlys 5 bucks each. for some that are tight in budget thats fine, im pretty sure someone other then myself can cover a bit more. if we really go through with this i need to know asap to make reservations.

its an outdoors thing, something different then just standing in a parking lot and talking. then if you want later we could do a cruise to good photoshoot area around there( i know theres someone that lives in that area).

 

as long as you're sure everyone will be able to all the cars together inside and that parking is close to the gazebo area... i think that would be the best bet all around. that's roughly an hour for everybody in LA, SD, & IE.

great idea... once we find out the spot, ill start with the item list and update it everyday to keep track on who is bringing what.

i guess the low desert fits are gonna have to man up the 2hr drive. im sure theyre cool with it though (if they sign up to go). theyre not gonna have a hard time accepting it

All the 310 Fits should meet up by our house (since we're right by the 405) then we can head straight to autobacks, hop back onto the 405 and head to wherever.

for some reason i feel that lake elsinore is actually more OUT of the way for most of us. i mean we have people coming in from LA area and San Diego. The middle point is Orange County! not tryign to be biased since i live here, but most of us are from the OC and it woudl be highly convenient not just for the OC fits, but it is a fair middle ground for LA and SD? my 2 cents
