Fitz Cup

So the final list as of today with payment is:

Yaris
1)03z33 (Jeff Lushe)
2)jkutcha (John Kutcha)
3)CompanyXPaladin (Edward) [Payment Pending]

Fits
1)DynamicFit (Tom Pham)
2)Lidoshorty (Anthony)
3)H-Fit.com (Johnny Chen)

There are 5 other non Fit/Yaris attending that are confirmed that are my personal friends, so if anyone is interested in joining us that day, you will be receiving the $20 transponder required to get your times for FREE.

Also as a message to anyone currently on the list, please cancel payment as it seems that ordering the track will not be possible, and instead please register with speedventures.com. I will hold a bbq meet for everyone that has confirmed, as to give us all a chance to meet and as a way of saying thanks for following through. For everyone that hasn't signed up with me yet, you can contact me by pm to join us for the track day.

Thanks,
Tom Pham

well since we can't get the track to ourselves, i'll withdraw my name from the list. I have a huge ticket (just got it recently) to pay off and other things like insurance too... I'll be there to watch the action unfold though.

Yeah that would be cool too, I understand these things are taxing in terms of funds, so if you want I can pick you up rather than you having to drive all the way out there, to save yourself some gas.

Yeah sorry bout that guys,

Unfortunately I had a lot more confirmed than were actually willing to put out the money. All money has been returned. Please sign up for the track day at SpeedVentures.com. I'll hold a pre-track day meet so we can get everything planned out for the day of the event. See you guys there.

Thanks,
Tom

Took care of everything. I sent each the Scion driver and the Versa driver the info. The Versa driver is definitely interested, but have not heard word from the Scion driver. Each was emailed individually.

Thanks again for helping spread the word,
Tom

Alright, I sent out teh word to the Scion and Nissan folk. Looks like we may have gained a Matrix in our group now though, haha. So if I'm understanding this right, we're still getting the transponders and our own class for the Micro Cars? Or am I wrong on that one?

Well Alec,
To tell you the truth, we don't even have enough cars to hold any type of Micro competition. However the group that is going is simply a few of my friends and a couple yarisworld members and possibly some fit owners. Regardless of what happens I have over 10 people coming, so if anyone is interested in running the track it would be a great opportunity to come out since the transponders will be thrown in for free. Obviously we will be working within the rules of speed ventures, so basically I am just opening up an invitation to anyone who is interested in going to a speed ventures track event and getting free transponders. Our group will consist of around 4 to 5 micros, so it should be an interesting run.

Thanks,
Tom

Alright, well the ScionLife people are picking up and getting all excited. We've got three other ppl definite and others that are teetering. Do you think you could give Speed Ventures a call and see when they plan on opening registration? I've had quite a few ppl ask when they could sign up!

Sorry I've been really busy with work lately, but registration is up and running - some of the ScionLife folks have already registered!
I still need to register myself....
