Have you seen the leaked photos of the 2009 Fit? It's awful. Just plain awful. That's all.

 

It's growing on me.

 

that thing is so nasty. the only thing that has that im jealous of, is the moonroof thats all.

 

u guys should check out the photos of one of the fitfreak members in singapore...it looks pretty cool to me, these photos dont have the best angles

 

i'll pass on the moonroof but i'll take the i-vtec head

on paper, it shows an increase in hp and mpg!!!

They are not really leaked photos since the car is currently being sold in Japan, and has been for a little while. Unless you think these are the USDM ones which I dont believe they are.

Its funny you posted this thread as the top picture of the white Fit is one of the best/better pics (showcasing) I have seen of the '09.


I am not a huge fan of the new version thus far but I dont think its hideous, well at least not yet.

It will be interesting to see when more a '09 fit owners join this Forum...

 

i think it looks alright from certain angles, like any car. we'll all have a better idea when we see it in real-life.

 

I heard it's supposed to get up to 43 mpg. I also read it handles better and accelerates better (as it should, it has 9hp more). You should check out the Fit Neo. It's better than the standard version (imo)

there's places that can do a all glass top, custom moon roofs all over the place.. My 90 DX hatch got a moon roof custom installed by the previous owner for like 200 dollars. I seen a dodge magnum with panoramic sun roof
that was really sick looking

 

anyways it kinda looks like the Xa but it's pretty kool looking (kinda), changed my mind >>BLAH>>>

 

It looks better in person. If you ever get a chance to see it prior to it coming out, I think you might change your mind. It grew on me.

EDIT: I meant coming out as in physically at dealerships, lol.

you know what? it IS growing on me. i love that the magic seats don't require the headrests to be removed. also, the nav. system is pretty cool. and i hate to admit it, but the more i look at it, the less i'm repulsed by the exterior. i think it would look good with some big wheels, a dropped height, and a good body kit...

 

...but the stepbus, now that's where it's at!
