I'm not JDM. It's called SDM. [Sheila's Domestic Market] :]But in all seriousness, I think you should just mod to your liking..who gives a poo if everyone else is gonna like it. =/ I mean it's an added bonus if people do, but you should mod for yourself. I mean the whole JDM style whatchamacallit is nice..but when people just throw on parts "because it's JDM," or hate on something because "it's not JDM," then it gets stupid.
