my preference will always be a manual though. i learned to drive a manual before an auto. i kept slamming my foot into the floorboards looking for the clutch when i first drove my ex's corolla
ex GF: "what are you doing?"

nothing beats the Fit in terms of practicality. i was able to move nearly everything from my last place into the new one with just my Fit.

Just need to replace a gas pump or whatever it's called and a little bit of outside work..but it's still in mint condition..only 14k original miles I had a rice bowl with bbq pork! It's not really authentic Chinese food..but it works when you're starving

my dad had a '79 corolla fastback. he carbed the 3tc, ported the head, had custom coilovers, a custom valance kit made for it in the philippines -- not as bad as it sounds, it's an ae86 kouki replica but for his model corolla, and swapped it from auto to manual. that thing wasn't fast, it wasn't fuel efficient, but it was and is still one of my favorite cars to this date.
it was totaled before i ever got to drive it.. i think i was 6 years old when he got rid of it
