Well, getting ready for the return trip back to the OC from Paradise in Nor Cal. 10 hrs in the Fit with my wife and 2 kids and all the christmas gifts (portable DVD players and headphones are the BEST!)-I'm so glad I'm not already lowered 'cause it sure looks low now! I'll also hit 47K miles on the way home! Yikes! Averaged 30 mpg running 75-85 on the way up, that's a lot better than 12-25 in my F150!

the funny thing is that both times my 360's broke, it wasn't the red ring. the damn graphic cards fried while the heat sink's were in tact

hey guys,
i'm borrowing some really nice gear for my trip up to NorCal:
85mm f/1.4
70-200mm f/2.8
10.5mm f/??
17-55mm f/2.8
sb-800
i'm going to get an sb-800 but am debating between the 17-55mm and the 85mm. i'll likely end up getting both in due time, but not sure which to get first. the 10.5mm is fun to just mess around with.
i learned some great tips and stuff about my camera last night - got some tutoring from the friend i'm borrowing gear from. he used to shoot professionally; all this gear is just barely scratching the surface of all of the various lenses and other stuff he has.
hopefully i'll be snapping off lots of pics up north over the next few days.
fit is staying put in SoCal though. i'll probably try using the fisheye on it when i get back. the other car is sitting on jackstands in a not-too-pretty state right now, hogging up the garage. poor fit is stuck outside.

thanks! i can't take credit for this capture LoL.. i found it on Digg.com and put it up as a temporary replacement for the other sig.
this weekend i'm going to wash my Fit then snap a few photos and make myself a new sig to replace the current one
