LOL Pinoy Ako!!! Don't speak though but my wife does! I only understand Tagalog when my wife yells at me.

The shop owner had a intermediary call. No big suprise there. He said the quote is a little high at $2700 and a more realistic area is about $1250. I said maybe I should take it down to Diamond Bar Honda and ask them how much to rebuild the motor.

It's what I was expecting though. I told him I also want to be reimbursed for the services rendered at the location and he said he will work it out. So it looks like I will be getting something around $1250-1450

cool doods, i can barely speak tagalog but i can understand casual conversations. i've heard formal tagalog and it's like a completely different language

sounds like good news with the shop, hope you get the longer end of the proverbial stick. if you have the tools for it, Watanabe motors sells d-series engines for dirt cheap - between $150 to $300 depending on the version. it only took me and my dad a weekend to swap my crx's engine without a cherry-picker

eek, that's two boosted Fits with a new transmission. yours and gd3gymkhanawannabeaoihgahgagpj or whatever his username is LoL... kinda scary . sorry to hear about that dude, what's causing the tranny failure?
whoa, glad to hear they were able to put "humpty-dumpty's head back together again" lol. .... jk!!! <3 sorrry, i had to.. but on the real, good to hear.

bout the tranny, I have no idea. when i brought it to the shop, they found a hold in the bottom of it. all my fluids leaked and so i was driving around with no fluid for a bit. I dont know but i'm kinda suspecting my LSD had something to do with it. maybe not changing fluids as often as needed? .... anywho, there's another person on the boards who was running that same LSD as me (not sure if he wants his name mentioned) and his tranny went out after 6 months of having it in and he suspected the LSD as well.... I've had mint in for about the same amount of time.... so i dont now? ... used tranny alone was $1000+tax. and i need a new tune... so hopefully i get my car back in the next two weeks, before class starts.

*humph* i'm depressed...

Yeh...I saw a segment that they do on channel 4 that said those engine/fuel injector/transmission flushes are not even recommend by Honda and it is more harmful than good because when they go in and flush it most of the time it just loosens the dirt and the while you are driving it that dirt comes off and now you engine/transmission is toast....They showed a bunch of peepz that got messed up from this scam...Just say NO...

I used that article from their online as documentation against the lube shop. I also sent the documents NBC 4 obtained from Honda as well.

I have SFIV on preorder at GS in Puente Hills Mall for the PS3. I'm still debating if I should order the Tournament Stick. It's $150!

I have a SCIV stick for my PS3. The SFIV stick is insane though. Too bad you can't pick which figure you get for the collectors edition. At least I get the movie on Blu-ray.

The one on the left is the Tournament Stick $150 the right is the regular one about $50. I really want the left one.

But I have SFIV and Killzone 2 on preorder and I want Skate 2 also. Too many games this early!!!
