oooooooooooooh i am so pissed! yesterday there was a gravel spill on the fwy i travel. FIRST it made me 2 hours late for a 20 minute drive (normally)
My wife actually passed through it 10 minutes after it happened. Lastnight when she got in her car to come home, she called saying her a/c was blowing hot air. Took it to Honda this morning.......a f$*#ing rock went through her condensor! Just the condensor is $700! Then tack on labor, and a recharge...looking at somewhere around $1000 to fix it. I am SOOOOOOOOO pissed, you haven't a clue!
oh and, called cal-trans to try and get information on who the trucking company was.....they have no clue. EVEN MADDER!

that makes me wonder, what kind of precautions could we take to avoid an accident like this? i saw david's (manxman) DIY with the billet grill but i'm not exactly sure if i like that look, especially if i'm going to paint my foglight housings.

That's paked up man! There was a gravel spill yesterday morning too! On the 15N right before the 91 W. It took me 4 hours to get home from San Diego that morning. I was mad pissed! But I was glad my GE8 is an auto. I would've been exhausted driving the DB8 in traffic for so long.
