it was on the corner of Western and Torrance Blvd. it's a hole in the wall, i went there a couple of times when i was still living with my parents nearly 4 years ago; i hope they're still there. i can only remember that their food was really good and the old lady there kept calling me pogi

ohh and they had REAL malasadas; not like the crap malasadas that L&L sells - seriously, L&L's malasadas are like round doughnut-mounds. if you've never had a real hawaiian malasada before, imagine a deep fried pan de sal rolled in sugar; sweet, slightly crunchy on the outside, warm, fluffy, and chewy on the inside.............

i was actually thinking of trying this place in Carson (near Carnige) called Back Home in Laihaina. i only hear good things about them and my hawaiian friends say they're more authentic than Aloha Kitchen, BUT they don't have adobo omelettes

i've only ordered the Adobo Omelette and the Malasadas from them.

ohh damn, the loft was my fav. spot in high school!! mMMmMMMmmm, i remember the loft's hawiian/island style fried chicken w/the ramen and cabbage coleslaw... good food, good times

That's funny, I just put in a phone order for some island style fried chicken and some Bacon Fried rice. yum!

There's one here in Cerritos/Artesia.
