Never head of Aloha Kitchen either. Where are the ones in Torrance/Carson located?
... i'm a FRIENDS fiend
it was on the corner of Western and Torrance Blvd. it's a hole in the wall, i went there a couple of times when i was still living with my parents nearly 4 years ago; i hope they're still there. i can only remember that their food was really good and the old lady there kept calling me pogi

ohh and they had REAL malasadas; not like the crap malasadas that L&L sells - seriously, L&L's malasadas are like round doughnut-mounds. if you've never had a real hawaiian malasada before, imagine a deep fried pan de sal rolled in sugar; sweet, slightly crunchy on the outside, warm, fluffy, and chewy on the inside.............

This is your fault Charlie...

you'll be thanking me after you've finished your Adobo Omelette

i was actually thinking of trying this place in Carson (near Carnige) called Back Home in Laihaina. i only hear good things about them and my hawaiian friends say they're more authentic than Aloha Kitchen, BUT they don't have adobo omelettes
