It's funny, when I came to college at UCI, I was pretty shocked there were that many asian people. I spent K-6th grade being 1 of like 5 asians at my school.

I went to a Catholic school as a kid, even though my family was Buddhist So not only was I the "asian kid," I was also the "Buddhist kid."

My high school was about 40% asian so it kinda eased me into Irvine LOL
