Does anyone play these games? Interested in having a Fit meet? I only know two places in SoCal that have the Wangan Midnight game and another place that has the Initial D Stage 4 machine.

man this was a hard choice but i choose Initial D cuss its better =P yet Wangan midnight isnt soo bad too =/

 

i have initial D extreme stage for playstation 3. i really want to get the wangan midnight game too but its super expensive. i used to go to the arcade around here on tuesday nights and pay 10 bucks for all you can play and just live at the initial D game all night.

I know GameWorks in Ontario has it, Japan Arcade in Little Tokyo has it .75cents a game, and Arcade Infinity in Diamond Plaza has one. Thats all I know

i like initial-d cause i use to go to nickel-nickel every weekend and battle with the little punks and their initial-d accessories lol
and wangan midnight is insane!!!my friend has it for ps3 and i play'd it once and is still hooked!
this is tough! i say both! haha

did you guys notice that the anime of wangan midnight... every scene has a honda fit in there =P

 

How does that play? I'm planning on ordering it. Does it have all the same tracks, car choices, and opponents? Wangan Midnight looks totally different on the PS3. Not so much cell shading.

Where is this arcade you are referring to? $10! Unlimited!

I tried that game. Didn't like it. The only thing Taito got right in that game is trying to reproduce realistic crashes and having a Honda Fit as a vehicle choice.

Okay... for those that have a license for Initial D, what cars do you have in your garage?

Me - 1. AP1 w/J's Racing equipment (of course!); 2. AE86 Corolla Levin (stock, haven't touched it)

And does anyone have any suggestions on beating Team Emperor? I think I've played that opponent like 5x. I always lose on the uphill battle. Should I try an EVO or WRX?

 

This shouldn't be even a question. Initial D is the best racing game also Battle Gear too. man! they both show true racing skills rather than wangan midnight they just go straight and some curves. hehe sorry kinda get out of hand there, but yea Initial D FTW!!.

 

I'm a RX7 fan seriously. I have both FD3S Keisuke's FD style and FC3S Kyoseku's FC style but I usually race with the FD since I really love that car.

man i use to play initial d i miss that gave its kinda like spending too much money fixing a fake car when i can fix up a real one lol play i love the 10 bucks tuesday but theres way way WAY too many darn people that plays it so i stopped =P i use to have the complete modded and looks supercharge levin (that characters levin cuss it looks better than truenos IMO) but then i cut it cuss its gonna make me want to play some more lol play i have it on my PSP so i stop playing at the arcade =P

 

i think im gonna pick up both from ebay for my ps3 lol ^.^

 

wangan midnight is just like the tokyo xtreme racer series on dreamcast/ps2.. something about cruising on the freeway in 1st person mode always made me sleepy LoL

i like initial d better even though i suck at it
