Anyone interested on going to HIN 2009 on March 14 2009 at Dodger Stadium? If yes anyone down to caravan there?

hm.. i might go! havent been to a HIN in yeaaaaars.

 

I've only been to HIN once in Dallas, Tx and it was alright. Nothing too exciting.

Maybe you guys can shed some light for me, but I don't see the point of those shows (unless you're actually featuring your car in it like pixiedixie). Why pay to go to a venue so that you can see big chested girls and more or less riced out cars? You see a lot of those cars driving around all the time, especially if you live in Cali. And when you can look at car and girl pictures online, what's the point in going?

I'm not trying to hate or anything, just trying to understand why people still go, now that the import scene has died out/become publicly recognized. What do you guys think?

the only reason why i might go is kuz it's something for me and my gf to do. i know its not something grand! but its better than going to the zoo or the aquarium.

i was thinking about going with my brother once but i didn't. he said it sucked. the cars were ok. the best part was the girls dancing on stage but the crowd was so huge he couldn't even see them.

free swag ftw!!! i also heard that hin has hired a new judging company and they're trying to gear the show towards more performance oriented tuning rather than the current show-bling that's kinda developed over the years. Hopefully this show marks that new direction and help the tuner industry! if it doesn't FUNCTION, then DELETE it!!! lolz... function_delete ftmfw!!!

HAHA! i dont have anything against the zoo or aquarium, or even musuems. but i can go to any one of those any weekend. my gf & i mostly go to live recording studio audience shows like Americas Best Dance Crew, Jimmy Kimmel, Jay Leno, or Carson Daly. she always gets free tickets @ www.1iota.com. If you guys dont have shit to do.. check it out. we went to the Last Call w/ Carson Daly today & we saw Adele, pretty cool!

 

Niceee, I'm gonna check that out! You guys get out a lot, huh? Hahaha, my schedule sucks so much that I'm pretty much prohibited to going out only on Fridays and Saturdays. Every other day is devoted to work and/or school. :/

she actually didnt, but she sang three songs though.. that i never even heard. i didnt even know anything about her, but my gf really wanted to see her! and after Carson interviewed her and seeing her performance.. i must say she is an absolutely great singer! maybe one of the best ive seen live. the whole show was about her! but we stayed for 3 days of recording lol.. so we saw other famous guests. all in about 2.5 hours.

 

Hahah, so that's how they do it, record 3 days in one! Makes sense now, lol. Well that's cool, sounds like a lotta fun!

 

i shall be at HIN again this year. i love going to import car shows/meets. cuz i'm really into the scene. i think the scene hasn't died out. but there are still some hardcore car enthusiest around.
