i almost got a job as an insurance adjuster because the hiring manager was my girlfriend's aunt. requirements were a BA in business and at least two years work experience in a related field. i had/have an AA in arts and zero insurance experience LoL... i pulled out because i needed to go through a mandatory (paid) 2 month training session in Oaklahoma

i would advise to avoid paying any kind of dealer mark-up. paying MSRP is already a little sketchy based on the current state of the auto-industry. where one dealer is offering MSRP, i'm sure another would offer you invoice if they knew you were ready to buy.

get in there, tell them what you want, if they can't do that, leave. good luck dude! can't wait to see the new ride in person

i just modded my stock airbox over the weekend - mentioned it in the Keep It Alive thread.

i'm really happy with the results! it feels like i've got an SRI again except with less noise and MORE mid range pull! it's still a work in progress, i hope for more positive results during phase 2. anyone who's interested in doing the same, just hit me up!

 

good news on my end too... pickin up a 09 base, MT, fogs, security system... by wed/thur...

no real discount.. but no mark up either... n no compromising w/ color n options ..
went to a couple dealers over the weekend... test drove a white one in simi... dont go to simi... the sales associate was cool.. knew his shit.. but the manager was a real douche... lol

one of the things i like most about about the base ge8 (besides price) is that the headlights come in gunmetal instead of the chrome that the sport has. can't wait to see it in person!
