So I got Ableton Live 7 and then I just ordered the nanoPAD and nanoKONTROL from Korg.

Kind of going into this blind but I've been wanting to get into it for years.

Any beat makers on the site?

 

I've wanted to get into it, but I've been using Fruityloops for 7 years. Never moved on from it, never really got serious. Just made some melodies here and there. Check out Nintechno on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads for a few. I need to get hardcore about it since I've been doing it so long and still sound like a noob...

 

Yeah my brother is messing around with FL and using the built in FPC but when I get my equipment in it should be a lot easier.

Sites blocked off at work but I'll check it out once I get home. I post pics of the equipment once it gets in and I have it setup.

 

im a DJ/scratcher but i always wanted to make beats so i can scratch over them...but eh i spent all my money on turntables, mixer, and vinyls...maybe sometime later when i get enough funds i'll buy a korg kaoss pad kp3!!! if they dont come out with a better one by then...LOL

 

My cousin and I make music together, he does just about all the beat making though.

He uses an MPC1000, fruity loops, and pro tools. I use the mic

 

ive made some beats but nothing great, i also use FL Studio. i also had the korg kaossilator and microkorg but sold it recently. ill post link if i get time to upload some beats.
