Facebook
So I made a FitFreak Fan page for everyone if anyone else wants to join. Already up 24 members. Just for everyone to know each other a little more that is non-myspace.

I originally made it as a Southern CA thing for us but it's a fan page so it's for all. When I first made it, the FitFreaks of the world never popped up in search but then again it's a group vs. fanpage.
Mike, I was like you hated these network thing, but when I started to travel a lot and meet a lot new people and keeping in contact with them and family members and friends and college buddy it was only way and also to show off my photos too....
Plus there a Blu ray fan page and group one of the Admin created over at BR forums!

It's helpful to keep in contact with everyone and plan small group event or what not. Myspace is too laggy and such. I actually use Facebook for Bio cuz there's a 171 Fall 09 group to join as well as the professor on twitter to update us on sessions and such.
I am another non-fan of Facebook, Twitter, and similar so-called social media. I recently joined Facebook only to stay in touch with geographically distant family members.

Creator Jack Dorsey was shocked and saddened this week after learning that his social networking device, Twitter, was being used to disseminate pertinent and timely information during the recent civil unrest in Iran. "Twitter was intended to be a way for vacant, self-absorbed egotists to share their most banal and idiotic thoughts with anyone pathetic enough to read them...."
