My beloved FIT is gone now. Ive had her for 2 years and 9 months. I remembered how happy I was when I first got her as a present from my parents. Thanks to 2 FORD SUVs, my car is wrecked. I was on the 60 west freeway going home this morning around 830am. I was on the right lane and just passed the bridge in between Crossroads Pkwy exit and the 605 on ramps. There was stop and go traffic. I was behind an SUV when I came to a complete stop. Then I looked in my rearview mirror and saw an SUV coming at like 20-25 mph. The SUV hit me from behind making me hit the SUV in front of me, so my whole car jerked forward and back. That was scariest moment of my life. My air bag deployed and my rear window was shattered. I have a 4 inch cut on my right arm, a cut on my left thigh, and a bruise on my collar bone. The first thing that came to my head was "**** my car!" I started crying because my car means so much to me. She was my first. The police came and everything. They interviewed the 2 other people that were in the accident, but didnt really ask me much except if I was alright. Towed my car back home because I wanted to get my visors off before they take it to the junk yard, but its too hard to get it off. So Im probably going to leave it as it is. My poor baby !!! There's nothing I can do to save her now. She sacrificed her life for mine and I'm thankful for that. I have no major injuries. THANK YOOOOU FIT ILL LOVE YOU ALWAYS

I want to get the new Honda Fit but my dad said no. Maybe I can get a used s2k or SI

Yeah I'm pretty lucky to only have a few minor cuts. If I didnt see it coming my head probably would have hit the airbag and my face would have been all cut up

Oh no! I drive on the 60 all the time and and I would see an orange fit with jdm taillights and stock rims from time to time... Good to hear you're doing fine and sorry to hear about your car

i know how you feel. i remember when my fit got totalled. i saw a van coming at me really fast and i was like "f u c k !"
but my airbags didnt blow

anywhoos, glad youre okay. complain to insurance to get more $ cause of the injury

I am so sorry your beautiful BOM Fit had such a terrible accident. Just glad that you were able to get out of the car and were not hurt anymore than you were. I hope that the SUV driver that caused this accident gets a ticket and is held responsible for all the damages. Let us know how things go with everything -

oh btw defintely get checked out by a doctor! i heard many stories of people having pain show up weeks after their accident! Best just to play it safe

 

Eeeek, looks bad! Glad youre ok. The Fit did its job in protecting you which is good, cars you can replace, your life you cant.

Fits dropping like flies. It seems that people just loathe our cars so much they want to damage theirs just to destroy ours. I hate SUVs as well, they are pointless and mostly driven by dumbass women with penis envy. Sigh, sorry for your loss at least it wasn't your fault AND you're alive

I know there a lot of SUV hater there, but it usually the driver or the owner of SUV who can't drive them not the car itself......I drive SUV myselft b/c the Fit can't get to area I need to go and the load I carry......
