Gas Brand

hey guys,

what brand of gas do you put into your cars? does it matter? i usually go with Shell or Chevron

Shell for me since I've their cc and get cash back.
When I'm lazy to drive to the SHell then I use Chevron.

do they differ? i want to say all that stuff is the same (techron, nitrogen in shell, etc)

but i do notice i get higher mileage with chevron

It comes down to the additives. But I do not think it matters I remember reading somewhere that it's basically all the same.

my Fits have only seen Shell except for the first tank from the dealer

Actually the nitrogen from shell help a lot....I have notice different in fuel and how the engine is running no day trip and also V -power too!

but usually for me Shell or Chevron

I use the brands listed here. http://www.toptiergas.com/retailers.html The only ones on the list avaliable near me are Chevron, Texaco, Conoco, Phillips 66, and Shell. I use mostly Shell because of the station near my home. I keep a printout of this list in my car for road trips.

Shell, 76 and Chevron also, but when I'm lazy I go to the nearby Mobil. And from time to time, I do bite the bullet and get the oh-so cheap Costco gas.

Chevron and theres a lot more of them around than shell or mobil near my house

Chevron here, but you are fine with any tier one fuel.
