Hey SoCal FitFreakers. Gonna be visiting SoCal for the first time on the first weekend of April. Gonna be staying in the LA Area. Was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions on some must see spots or anywhere else that might be cool to check out. Thanks in advance.

 

How long you staying for? just that weekend?

Since your in the LA area might as well check out Downtown LA and Santa Monica area

 

Which part?

 

We're staying from Apr 1-4. Probably staying in/near Downtown LA. Got some friends in that area.

 

i would recommend the farmers market in hollywood. lots of great food, eclectic art/music/crafts, and you're bound to see a few celebs there on the weekends

The weather's gonna be awesome. Should hit up PCH and the beach.

 

Go to Disneyland! I'm JK... Definitely hit up PCH. I'd recommend Angeles Crest Highway, but I think it's still under construction...

 

Yea, my friend was just up at Angeles Crest and he said the cops shooed him away.

 

I've been dying to go... It's been a while.

 

while you're at PCH, if you're neaer malibu... go check out decker canyon... my favorite road...

 

You should come down to The "OC"... Where it happening! LoL Visit Hollywood, Griffin Observatory, getty images, malibu canyon, Little Tokyo, China Town, Little Korea, if you into shopping I would recommend making trip down to South Coast Plaza. Long Beach, Newport Beach,and Huntington Beach if you want to hit up some bars... there a lot stuff you can do in Southern California.

Philippe's for some double-dipped lamb and Ye Olde King's Head for fish n chips and a few beers.

 

You should hit up Tuna, My favorite Road.

 

LOL all these canyon runners...Santa Monica is where its at. weather is going to be awesome those days too. and on sunday theres a outdoor farmers market that goes down and i've been there a couple times, its pretty intense.

 

Thanks for all the suggestions! Will def take up some of your ideas. All the roads would be fun, but we'll be in a rental car. lol
Phillipe's was on my to do list. Also wanted to try out Pinks. Gonna try to pack a lot of stuff into 3 1/2 days.

My buddy just booked our room. We're staying in Commerce down the street from the Casino.

 

IMO don't go to pink. its not all that great...its just a regular hot dog with an ass load of condiments.

if anything, hit up The Hat. BOMB pastrami!
