earthquakkkee

ok guys,

i had a dream maybe like 2 nights ago. it was pretty weird in the way where it was so detailed..and i usually don't remember 3/4 of my dreams.

anyways, in my dream i was talking to my gf on how there's gonna be an earthquake in SoCal since everywhere seems to be having one...and guess what, it happened in my dream. the date of the earthquake in SoCal was on April 24, 2010...with a 7.2 magnitude.

although it's just a dream..it was pretty realistic...AND if we do have an earthquake on that day, then i'll be famous for predicting it.

sorry for being random. just wanted to throw it out there. but i doubt anything is gonna happen on 4/24

How were you aware of the date? You can't read in your dreams

The side of your brain that is connected to REM sleep is not the side that processes written words.

no offence, but all of these "predictions" popping up lately are just silly. How does it help you to know that something like that is coming? It's completely unavoidable, you cant do anything to change what will happen, so why start a panic?

hahah no offense taken. but im not saying it to start a panic..but more for popularity! if it does happen..imagine the publicity! hahaha. but no, i just thought it was weird how i remember this so vividly..maybe its because of the earthquakes we're having around the world and im subconsciously thinking about it

Yeah, check out the movie Waking Life or look up Lucid Dreams.

I tend to not believe any dream interpretations because we are more in control of our dreams than we realize.

The amount of recent activity probably lead you to dream what you did.

I know you aren't saying anything to start a panic. The silly thing is people like my wife freak out. I try to tell her it's not worth freaking out, but she still does

Remember a few weeks ago when we had that earthwuake at 4am? Well the day before, my dad decided to finally attach the stained glass window shutters that were just leaning on the window for months. And he said "now when the earthquake comes these won't fall and destroy your computers!" (the shutters were leaning on the window above my desk) and then... the next morning EARTHQUAKE. Omg my dad is psychic.

I think there's some mechanism for receiving that sort of information without having to actually decode the words. My girlfriend has numbers and words and the like in her dreams all the time, but she's not so much reading them as *receiving the information*.

we had an earthquake today at 5:59 pm - 5.0 - about 25 miles out of salt lake city in the mountains, and i felt it, it was a trip! i cant remember feeling one like that in the past, (big news here, and i find it funny how 5.0 earthquakes are not news worthy down there and 12" of snow is not news here but flip those around and you have news for days LOL

thats pretty interesting we cant really predict earthquakes but at all cost be ready and prepared thats all we can do? my next door neighbor is a geophysicist at caltech im taking some of the classes that hes teaching its awesome learning alot about the earth he says theres no way to predict earthquakes but instead be ready

I think we are gonna had a big one as well oh btw I'm a sleeptec I know a thing or two about sleep lol there is no reason why we need sleep there r theorys but no facts. They is also no reason why we dream and rember it. Yes we need to enter rem to be rested. I argue we need all 4 stages of sleep to get a full nights rest. I often have dreams that turn out to be visions of the future kinda like Deja vu so I wouldent dought there is an earth quack tomorow like I said I always feel one before it happons and last year I said there would be one soon
