rare wheels stolen off my car last night

Volk TE37's 15x7.5 White. No curb rash. brand new set of goodyear eagle GT's on them. Stolen off my bugeye last night while it was parked in front of our house. There's probably only about 5 sets in the whole country... if you see them please let me know. not sure about offset, but fits only a couple of cars... i think subaru only.

Please send the word out.

Thanks.

-V
p.s. the rims had wheel locks and car had an alarm - both failed. also, this happened 3 blocks from the police department.

Car alarm didn't feel the wheels leave. Jack one side set it on blocks begin removing two while other side is jacked and set on blocks then pull other two. Under 5 minutes for sure and they knew exactly what they wanted and how to get it.

3:30AM every street is quiet.

Pro's will take whatever they want whenever they want it. Lucky they didn't take the whole ride. Will your insurance cover the theft??? I'll keep an eye on craig over here, but I doubt you'll see them again - really sucks.

This is happening more and more with the economy being so bad. People are out to steal what they know they can sell for some fast cash. Sorry it happened to you, those are awesome wheels and tires. Hope you can get them recovered - will insurance help you out at all? Think about putting a baby monitor on the dash board - it would most likely wake you when they start working on the car to jack it up.

They'll end up for sale eventually. Did you file the police report already?

That's terrible.

I hope they get caught. I'll keep a lookout but I have a feeling these will be sitting in a garage for a while then painted and re stickered.

Did the alarm have an optional motion/tilt sensor or just the standard shock/impact sensor?

i know exactly how you feel. my work meisters were stolen about a month ago. by the time i heard the alarm it was gone already. tbqh the police here wasnt much help. no return phone calls or anything.all you can do is just preventing this from happening again.
