those GE's were automatic.. i think they dyno'd like 81 and 87? cant remember

 

It's typical to loose 25-30% to an automatic transmission. A little less loss for a manual transmission.

 

My experience has been for cars where you don't have to turn the power by 90 degrees:

10% loss is excellent - my NSX falls in this category
15% loss is about average for FWD manual trans
20% loss is average for auto FWD or Front engine RWD manual trans
25% loss is bad and something is wrong or stated HP is incorrect
30% loss is unheard of unless you have a slipping clutch or auto trans

The 81HP for this fit is a 30% loss WTF?

I know that some dynos just read low and raw numbers must be corrected for temperature and elevation.

 

Aaron AKA nghtrydr23 dynoed his 09 GE8 AT. His GE8 was able to produce 88.9whp and I think about 80 ft/lbs. of torque.

Seeing these numbers, I guess us fit guys have to stick to bragging about our fuel economy

 

What can you say? The Fit has a SOHC 1.5L 4-cylinder engine. Can't expect much out of it from the start. I know I didn't. To be honest, I'd be happy to gain a least 10whp from just adding bolt-ons.

 

I also dyno my fit that day but I cant upload my graph with my phone, my best run was 101 hp and 96 torque
