well the book says modds for looks are ok, with that being said, i could have a turn down and have these "fake tips" showing, like when people install fake ball sacks on their trucks, or like the fake propeller for boats on their tow hitch. but every area even neighborhood to neighborhood have different db tollerances, the norm is about 95db's
but u cant touch any emissions controls, so a cat-back is completely legal, the book does say mods for noise and performance are illegal, but doesnt say u must stay oem! so with a "stylistick" exhaust, (and as long as the owner of the vehicle believes its in working order) an aftermarket exhaust is LEGAL!
now looking into whats a "legal" style, the exhaust cannot stick out the side of the vehicle, cant stick out the back more then (i think) 18in., now the fun part! the height of the exhaust can be up to 11 ft. tall!!!!!!!!

this one kinda pissed off cops, they tried to claim it stuck out, but clearly border-line










ok so if u install a "muffled tip", like any n1 stlye muffler, and believe its for styling and still under the db range, its legal! so mod those exhaust!

Travis for the win. Chris strong for tie on first. Depends on your thoughts of clean. Chris has JDM conversion and is quick as hell, and definetly a wheel whore. Travis is dumped on dope boy wheels, with a full Kenstyle aero pakage.

So do you want stanced or function. Strong tie.

What are VA residents doing in the SoCal forum?? of course I am just joking, but be nice. I like Travis' car and Chris' car. Form versus Function. fitisbamf is doing his own thing and I respect that as well, honestly its all about what makes the owner of the car happy at the end of the day.
