T1R spring installation*recommendation*

hey everyone, im new here, and new to cars too. anyone know where i could go to have my T1R springs installed in anaheim area or any area near ?? i called some auto shops and they charge for $300.00 is that the standard charge for isntalling a spring?? just want to make sure.

or if anyone would like to help me install them i would really be glad to pay you guys well i dont have any tools of sort dont have a garage and im fairly a new driver and starting out. im DUMB when it comes to cars, since this is my first car. and i would love to watch how it is installed and learn how to do it.

well im hoping someone can help

i want to install some as well i heard a lot of good recommendations about this place but its kinda far Raceline USA - Temple City, CA . how much did you get your springs for ?

yeah i know im hearing and reading good reciews about that place but thats just waaaaaayy far for my place. got my springs at $175.00 at aj-racing.com whataprings do you got??

I can't comment on any recommended shops in your area since I am from the Midwest, but $300 for installation of your springs is very reasonable. Around here in Iowa/Nebraska shops usually charge somewhere between $425-$500. Hope this helps a little bit and welcome to the forum!

oh i see i just wanted to make sure that im not getting ripped off so i guess ill do that then thanks for the info dude!!

Those quotes are way to high.It's worth it to make the drive to Raceline.

I had my Swift springs installed at Raceline and they do good work for a fair price.
I'm in Santa Monica so it was a bit of a drive for me but well worth it.

Can't recall totally, but it wasnt near 300. call them and ask. Ohhhh and get an alignment too!

Just called Raceline and they are going to charge me $100 for spring installation, and yeah it is definitely worth the drive.

and everyone thanks for all your help, will be updating if i had a very nice visit at Temple City

how was your installation at raceline ? hmmm did you get an alignment too because most people i know get an alignment after they installed the springs to make sure the car drives straight.

it was pretty much ok. elton really did a good job on installing my springs and also he told me that i should let my springs settle first before i have my alignment. i felt uneasy and after 2 weeks i had my alignment one near my area. well there is no problem as of now. so im good

did alignment show any camber/toe after installing springs? because i have coilovers installed, but havent gotten a alignment yet because i was told that the way fit's suspension is i would gain almost close to zero camber/toe. im not sure whether i'd want to spend the money for an alignment.

i know and feel that my car drives straight so i feel theres no need for an alignment. even though it's highly recommended.
