There's a meet at the Laguna Hills Mall every Thursday night from about 8pm-whenever everyone decides to leave. I checked it out for the first time last night and was sad to see that not only was I the only Fit there, there wasn't a big JDM turnout at all... A few Miatas, Subies, and Speed3s but that's about it. There were a ton of lifted trucks/Jeeps, Bimmers, and Mustangs so let's even the field a bit and get some of us out there.

Laguna Hills Mall: 24155 Laguna Hills Mall, Laguna Hills, CA 92653 (Meet is held in the lot by In-N-Out and Macy's adjacent to El Toro Road
8pm-midnight-ish

Brief directions:
From 5 North:
Exit El Toro and turn left.
Turn left onto Regional Center Dr (Into mall parking lot)
Meet is the lot immediately to your left.

From 5/405 South:
Exit El Toro and turn left onto Avenida de la Carlota.
Turn right onto El Toro Rd.
Turn left onto Regional Center Dr (Into mall parking lot)
Meet is the lot immediately to your left.

I know a lot of people are weary after the meet crackdown in El Centro but it seems as though the Police in Lake Forest/Laguna Hills are much more lax. No cops showed up last night and I've heard that even when they do, they just look around and chat with the drivers a bit (basically making sure people aren't being stupid but not there to chap your ass).

Was there this Thursday and it was ok. More than a few kids acting being stupid (especially trucks). But I would like to see a Honda Fit turnout, how many are out there?

Ah! That makes sense. Yeah, trucks felt like they all needed to burnout when they left but whatever. It would definitely be nice to get a few Fits out there in the future.
