I wanted to make an official thread for the end of the year White Elephant Gift exchange.

So with the support from the Mods: Wais, Erik, and Zuriel, the December Meet will being having a white Elephant Gift exchange.

What to do: Bring a wrapped $20-25 dollar gift that is Honda/fit/car related to the next meet.

When is it: December 13th 7pm-later

Who to tell: EVERYONE, invite all the honda fit lovers you know, even our non-fit brothers/sisters. Spread the word through instagram/facebook/twitter/smoke signal/telegraph...

What to buy: There is tons of things you can buy...but here are some ideas:

JDM air freshener
car themed license plate (simply clean/illest/stanceworks/evasive etc.)
Meguirs detailer spray/wax combo.
Honda t-shirt
car/honda lanyard (really want an illest lanyard )
broadway mirror
Valve stem caps (dice)
honda chrome keychain
led bulbs 194/168
password jdm license plate bolts
stickers of course
pair of fuzzy dice for the rear view mirror
stuffed animal driving buddy

just anything you would buy your fit that you think someone else might enjoy.

What to wear: Your best christmas/holiday/Hanukah/non-denominational ugly sweater to receive bonus points...and maybe cookies or something...heck best sweater might get a gift...

Yeah lets get this rolling folks. This sounds like a blast!

 

i very much want to be there for this but a friend of mine is getting married that day. Can we get a time that were gonna do the actual gift exchange? 8,9,10 lets commit to something as far as a schedule goes that way if I'm gonna be left out you guys don't expect me as well as if someone shows up late they don't get left out.

 

Yeah I like sound of that. Maybe we do a food run after or something.

7-8pm Arrival: Get some cookies provided by me converse with other fit friends.

8-9pm Food: Head over to grab Bobba/Food

9-9:30pm: White Elephant Gift exchange

9:30pm-9:45 Ugly sweater contest : Winner will be given a car related gift provided by myself.


I was thinking maybe turning the ugly sweater contest into a Holiday Car dress up Contest. Like christmas light, reindeer ears, wrapping paper liner...etc Not sure how people would like that.

Always wanted to go to one of these but I live in San Luis Obispo. This one seems like a good one. Would have to stay in a hotel or crash on a couch. Any one have any suggestions for the former (cheap!) or have a couch they could spare?

I like the timeline and ugly sweater contest. Dressing the car up and driving from SD would be a pain, plus I'm way to lazy for that.
