WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!

I ordered it from Dow Honda. A co-worker leased a Civic from them in December, and the same sales manager gave me a 400$ discount off the MSRP. I can't complain, since they have already sold all the Fits they will be receiving until the end of May! The guy doing the financing was surprised to see that I got a discount.

I was in the dealership for a hole 20 minutes, if that!

So if I'm lucky I'll be getting my Vivid Blue 2007 Honda Fit Sport with manual transmission by the end of June. Maybe later if Honda decides to ship them different colours.



I might get the HFP rims next year.

 

Congrats! We ordered our Blaze Orange Fit Sport at the beginning of April, and expect it to be here within two weeks. Really looking forward to it getting here.

 

Are the Toronto dealers sold out too?

 

I would think so. We ordered the car on April 2nd, and a delivery date of the first week of March.

 

I thought you want to wait 'till end of the year, guess not lol.

I was planning on getting one this summer. I'm happy I went in when I did, I could of ended up with a much longer wait. The three dealers I spoke too didn't expect this type of response for the Fit.

 

To make long story short.
I am happy for you and hope you can get the car soon.

Are you planning to lower the car?

 

Not sure yet. This will be my new commuter car, I live in the country and I get to battle some fun snow storms quite a few times each winter, especially with a 55km commute to work.

I'll have to measure the front clearance and go from there.

I have my 1992 Integra GS-R for the days I'm late for work or need to throw the passengers around in their seats.

The dealer called tonight. I'll be getting my Fit in June! They have 5 orders for manual Sports, and they will only be getting 2 in June!

Seems like Honda really screwed up on the ratio of manuals vs autos, especially for the Sport. All the local dealers have been scrambling to get any manual models.

I was told that Honda pre-orders its transmissions 6 months in advance. So it will take a while before they readjust the 15% manual ratio.

 

Im glad you posted that picture so I could imagine what my car is going to look like. I got the HFP wheels, and I didnt even get to see the VBP before I decided that was the color I wanted(it was the only color my dealer had coming in, that was a Sport manual). Beggers cant be choosy.

I love this blue! With a mild drop, the VBP with the HFP rims will be HOT! Good choice!
