$800 off MSRP
LX trim
only thing we added was keyless entry
Gonna get a set of nicer rims and maybe an after market rear hatch spoiler for the money we saved from getting a Sport. Kinda regretting I didn't opt for the sport now ... the paddles and body kit are pretty nice compared to the bland base stylin.

Oh right I should update my profiile, lol. When I first join a forum I don't exactly fill out the details truthfully.
700$ off MRSP (Sport model)
I added :
cargo cover,
HFP rims (-200$),
winter tires,
Engine Block Heater,
Chrome Exhaust Finisher.
and I got the transparent protector on the hood for free (200$ value)
So I guess we could say that I saved 1100$ in total

Not entirely sure, but I saved a tons off the taxes because I traded in a beetle. But a couple hundred off mrsp for sure, then they gave me even more off when I went back the next day with my sister and bought a second Fit :P
I used to feel sorry for my Northern neighbors because I thought that your Income Tax structure was outrageous. Now it looks like you at least can get a nice deal when buying from your Honda dealer. WE to the South get stuck by Honda any time, AND the Feds. at tax time. Congratulations on having decent Honda dealers.
When I saw the heading question, Price paid in Canada?, I was expecting to see a dollar figure and when the Fits were bought.
All I see are MSRP plus or minus. It's hard to compare prices this way as provinces have diff. tax rates, etc. What is the MSRP today? Did you have to pay the $100 A/C tax. Did you have to pay the tire tax?
What did you pay OTD or out of your pocket?

For example, $22,800 OTD in Ontario is actually a BETTER deal than 22,260 OTD in Alberta; by about $1000 pre-tax.
So people telling the discount gives you an idea on the markup + promo that's available and what kind of margin you can knock off.
