Anybody else from Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge on here?

I was driving in my little red Escort yesterday (my birthday), and was just remarking to the family that I "didn't even have any Fit sightings on my birthday," (poor me, haha) when lo and behold, I looked in the rearview mirror and saw the front of a VBP Sport Fit! And I almost smacked into the back of the taxi in front of me, but luckily I have new brakes. Anyway, this was my first sighting of a Fit (aside from dealer lots, which I frequent frequently) in our region, let alone in Hespeler driving up Queen Street!?! Was it anybody from here?

 

i actually bought my Fit from kitchener.. but i am in markham right now :-P

Hey Joe! I'm getting mine from Waterloo...never actually made it to Kitchener cuz I liked the salesperson at Waterloo.

Sounds like there are a lot of Fit Freaks out there in Markham. Must be the place to be.

I don't have one myself, but I've seen two in the wild near my workplace in Waterloo -- a blue one regularly parked in the strip mall at Albert & Bearinger, and a light silver at a house at Columbia & Hazel.

Okay...so I saw that same VBP Fit turning off of Highway 24 onto Queen Street in Hespeler yesterday afternoon (Sunday). Had a better look this time, and it is NOT a sport model. Anyway, nobody on here? If you are a fellow freak, please step forward!

BTW, Cambridge Honda had three Fits sitting on their lot yesterday: one black and one red DX/LX and one VBP Sport. The last was manual transmission! Don't know if they're spoken for or not but heads up to anyone in this area. I wish that blue sport manual had been an orange!

 

I am from Kitchener, however I ended up buying my Fit in Mississauga.
By luck I had dropped by the dealer in Mississauga and they had a mt red Sport Fit ready to go, and I was driving it within the week .

 

Hi Blinky! Lucky you! They didn't happen to have an orange one there, did they? :-) Hmmm...probably not. I hope I EVENTUALLY get mine!!!

Will watch for you out and about. Have seen a red one parked on Westmount recently, and a black one driving around quite a bit. That and a couple of silvers. Numbers seem to be gradually increasing.

oh and just about an hour ago (noon on July 17 2006), saw a Blue Pearl Fit at University and Weber! Girl in the driver seat and dude in the passenger i think?
