Anyone have hook-ups for Honda parts?

I'm looking for Honda brake parts and a new battery, the local dealers cost a ton and with the current exchange rate, shopping in the US is not as attractive, let alone finding a US dealer willing to ship....

Anyone know parts people at their local dealer? There was a guy on here who used to work for Honda West, but I dont think he is on here anymore..

Thoughts?

Thumbs up Parts

I bought struts from a Canadian web site called The Wrench Monkey. Saved 50% over Honda dealer prices. Free delivery over 70$ I think it was. Delivered via Canada Post in seven days. :thumbups

Local Autoparts stores usually offer decent pricing on brake pads, rotors, drums etc. For the battery and brakes there is no reason to stick with Honda branded ones.
You can get as good or better aftermarket parts since they are wear items and widely available. Even Crappy tire can get you brake parts cheap if you watch the sales.
